Royal Tank Corps Ranges

The Secretary of State for War, represented by Mr. L.C. Marrow, solicitor, applied at Swanage (Dorset) County Court for immediate possession of premises occupied by Mrs. B.K. Davis, Seavale Farm Cottages, East Lulworth, which, it was stated, were required for the extension of the Royal Tank Corps ranges. It was stated that the need for possession was urgent. There was a claim of £2 19s 10d., arrears of rent and mesne profits, but Mr. Marrow stated that the Minister was prepared to waive that if he could obtain immediate possession. An order for possession in two weeks' time was made by Judge E Watkins Cave K.C.
